Update: Bullet List

And I give you a bulleted list of a blog entry because I can't focus on any one particular thing these days...

• Saturday is our annual Mother's Day BBQ. It's a tradition that dates back over 3 years...haha. And the fathers are already complaining...one because the track will be open and the other because he wants to be at his house at the lake. I only host ONE event for spring and summer. This is it, folks!! Should I just tell them to stay at home?? Maybe...
• On that note, the Mother's Day BBQ is Saturday and I'm totally unprepared. I know...shocking. I have food to buy and prepare and a house to overhaul. Oh, and dog poop to clean up. Fun. But the gifts are bought. Score ONE for Danielle.
• I'm getting my hair cut and colored tomorrow. Can I get a HELL YEAH!?! I'm excited. This is lllooonnnggg overdue as my hairdresser has been on maternity leave. My hair is too long and shabby and just gross. I think a bird tried to build a nest in it yesterday. Had I not heard the chirping I probably wouldn't have known.
• I am currently doing the Special K Challenge. I am 4 days in and have done wonderfully all 4 days. I love the fact that I can still have one real meal and I can eat fruits and veggies for snacks. I thought I'd starve while doing this, but after the first day I was already acclimated to eating less. And we ALL know I needed to eat less. I'll let you know how it went after my 2 weeks are over.
• Jayna is almost crawling. She's learned to sit herself up. She can sit up in her crib now when she's done sleeping. Not so sure that's a good thing. And she has an unhealthy obsession with zipper pulls. She'll crawl all the way across our living room to Chris' laptop bag to play with the zipper pulls. If I hide the zipper pull of her jacket under her carseat harness she cries. Funny.
• I am so so so so happy the weather is warmer. Now if the rain would just stop for a few days. Or months.
• Jayna has another ear infection. We're trying a new antibiotic this time...a mixture of erithromycin and sulfa. Chris is allergic to both of those, but Jayna has done fine with them...and no diarrhea!! That makes me happy.
• I STILL want to move. So very bad.
• The Oldies Videos will return soon. I didn't realize my readers liked those so much!! I've gotten a few emails asking why I hadn't posted one in awhile. I'll get back at it soon. I'm just experiencing an overload right now. An overload of things that keep me away from the blog world.
