Today was a long day. Jayna finally crashed at around 10:30 along with Chris. I followed about an hour later.
Lessons were learned today...by ALL of us.
Jayna learned that even if her words do not MEAN to be hurtful to others that they can, indeed, STILL actually be hurtful to others.
I learned that parenting is a racket. Here she is, MY BABY GIRL, who likes and gets along with everyone, and she's growing up. She's forming her own opinions and feelings about things, people, etc. And my job most of all is to teach. To teach her right from wrong. To teach her that even when we speak before thinking, we still apologize.
And Chris? Well, he learned a lesson about whiskey. :)
Look how tired those eyes are. She fell asleep before the ABCs were over.
