ToT: Warm Weather in Instagrams

**Sorry about the wonkiness of this post.  Blogger hates me today.**

TOPIC:
We've talked about this a little bit before in our "traditions" post, but in spirit of warmer weather eventually coming our way, I thought we could write a post about some of our favorite outdoor festivals, activities, events that we attend in the summer/spring.

We are definitely a family of warm weather people.  I always like to play like fall is my favorite season...and while I LOVE fall for so many reasons, when I look back through pics of the most fun we have, it's always in the summer.

While I was looking through said pictures of summer, I thought that the best way to tell you about our favorite things to do in the summer would be to show you.  And if a picture is worth a thousand words, this may be my longest blog post ever!!!

Here goes.  In the summer we like to:

Have backyard races.  With Jayna.  And the dog getting under our feet so Jayna can win.

Build things.  Like gardens.  And then move the VERY NEXT SUMMER and leave the garden at the old house.

Go to Irish Fest.  We have been going to Irish Fest for lots of years now and we have some serious fun every year.

Have a fire, play guitar and eat smores.  And drink wine, of course.

"Fly" on our bellies.  Me included.

 

Plant things. 

Go to Indians baseball games.

Drink wine.  Eat popsicles.

Go to the zoo.

Hang out with Rowdy.

Refinish furniture.  Gotta start 'em young.

Go swimming.

Play at the park.

Drink wine.  :)

Play with new friends.

Hang around.

 

 

There are so many things that are NOT pictured here.  Our favorite times are the times when we are together.  We grill and eat outside.  We visit Lake Freeman.  We go to the park.  We run and play spray water at each other. 

 

This is what memories are made of, my friends.
