On-Demand is just a bad, bad thing.

Chris and I switched our television/internet provider to AT&T U-verse. And let me just give you a little equation here: Chris + Danielle + Free OnDemand television = straight up laziness. But now I know about all the good shows I'm missing because I go to bed when it's still light outside! And now I *must* watch them because they are on free on-demand and I have to get my money's worth out of the new cable, right?? RIGHT? I thought so.

So we have now watched every episode ever made of The Cleaner except for the new one from last night. We will watch that tonight. And I think this may be my Favorite. Show. Ever. Even surpassing Grey's Anatomy. I know...who knew THAT would ever happen?!?

I began watching it last weekend. On Saturday Jayna only took one nap...a big long 3 hour nap in the middle of the day. Chris had cleaned most of the house on Friday while our U-verse was being installed. He was outside mowing the grass. I began checking out the free on-demand and came across The Cleaner. I love the show Intervention, so I watched the pilot of The Cleaner. I was hooked immediately. I've always been fascinated with addiction and how crazy it is and how difficult it is to end an addiction. I've always been fascinated with drugs...not taking drugs, just learning about them. I was bored one day at work so I researched meth and learned just about everything there is to know about it. It's very interesting. Anyhoo, I haven't stopped watching the show since.

I also feel like I relate to the main Character, William Banks (played by the talented and very handsome Benjamin Bratt). Not because he's an ex-junkie, but because of his quasi-religious views. I find myself nodding and agreeing with almost all of his "conversations" with God. I won't say anymore than that in case you're on the edge of your seat waiting to go home and watch the show.

The show does make me think. It makes me think about my purpose in the world. Is there a bigger picture that I am a part of or am I just here to live my little meaningless life?

It's a wonderful show, but sometimes difficult to watch. You have my word...you'll LOVE it! Now go. Go watch it. NOW!
