FREAK OUT!!!
Feel free to either watch that and do your best hustle or ignore it because disco sucked ass. Either way-I'm okay with it.
I am OFFICIALLY freaking out about the birthday party. Yesterday I finally wrote down (you know, once it's in writing it's true) the people who have RSVP'd and what's the count thus far?? You'll never guess. Before I tell you, I'll say this: I can fit 13.6 people in my house. One person has to be standing almost half way outside. The count is.....wait for it....47. Yes. You did read that right. I will have 47 of my closest family and friends (including Chris, Jayna and I) at my house. All. At. Once.
What if it rains?? It will be like a rave in my house. And Jayna will have photos of her one-year birthday rave to show her kids when she grows up. What the hell was I thinking??
The honest answer to that question is that I seriously thought that many people wouldn't be able to make it. I am soooo very happy that so many people are coming. It will be so awesome for the kid. She'll LOVE it. Seriously, she's a little social butterfly right now. And all that attention? I'm sure we'll pay for that for weeks after this party.
"Is that all your freaking out about, Danielle? You're going to lose your mind over just the amount of people? Don't you have more important things to worry about???"
Well, yes, kind reader. I do, actually. I have determined how to make the cupcakes look like pink clovers...and it is difficult. My hand is sore from doing 6 last night. And I need atleast 50 cupcakes. Ugh.
And I have to have enough food for 50 people. That's like 8 packages of hotdogs. Actually it's 9 because 8 would make me 2 hotdogs short! And like 4 pounds of potato salad! Ugh.
And I made favors for the kids...but ONLY the 12 who RSVP'd. And that makes me nuts. I'd love to make a few extra in case someone shows up with no RSVP. But these things are a little in depth. Not difficult, but a little time consuming. It's TOTALLY worth it though. Y'all just wait. When you see the photos, you'll say, "That was TOTALLY worth the time and effort." Trust me. But still. Ugh.
I am sooo excited for this party, but it's gotten bigger than I thought I would!! But we'll wing it and everyone will have an AWESOME time and it'll be fun! And there WILL be beer. There MUST be beer. How else do you expect me to pull this off??

I would be happy to bring something if that would help out. Just let me know. I can bring some bags of potato chips or something like that.
