Housekeeping

Blogworld housekeeping, that is!!  No, I don't fluff pillows.  Or anything  ("WHAT KIND OF HOTEL IS THIS??" in my best Chris Farley voice, of course).

I've changed my blog header, as most of you have noticed.  I've also added and subtracted some links to the side.  I've deleted people who have begun to annoy me or who just quit posting and I've added some people I love and/or think are hilarious and talented.  A couple of highlights:  Addicted To Cuteness in the Stalk category is my friend Holly.  She is funny and random.  Ree Drummond-The Pioneer Woman in the Reading Material and Pioneer Woman's Tasty Kitchen in the Delish category.  She lives on a cattle ranch and has the most amazing recipes.  And Bakerella, also in the Delish category.  I take alot of my baking cues from her.  Those aren't all the new ones, but a good sampling of what I've added.  Actually the whole Delish category is new, so you should definitely check that out...unless you're on a diet.  It is a test of willpower for me to read these blogs.

I'll be doing some more adding and subtracting in the next few weeks.  I plan to eventually begin posting to my other blog (about creating things) when I start scrapbooking again.  Oh, and the baking things will go on there too.  It'll be fun!!

I'll keep y'all posted on what changes.  In the meantime, here are three random facts about me and housekeeping:
  • I don't vacuum.  Chris does.  I hate it and that's that.  I'm not sure how I was so lucky to get a husband that will vacuum based solely on the fact that I HATE IT WITH A PASSION, but that's just the hand I was dealt, people.  Deal with it. :)
  • I ALWAYS rearrange the dishwasher when someone else loads it.  It doesn't matter who does it, I'll still rearrange it.  I'm neurotic.
  • It sometimes takes three to four days for our clean laundry to get folded.  I am FULLY aware that there is only one excuse for this:  laziness.  But it's my laundry and I'll fold it when I'm damn good and ready.
What are your housekeeping quirks??
