Today's Five (plus one) for Friday are my six favorite June pics. (I may begin a monthly blog post entitled Six Pix. I think that would be creative and fun.) I couldn't choose only five, so you get six. Here goes:
- This is from the zoo. Jayna thought the penguins were the coolest thing on earth and wanted to live with them. They would come right up to the glass and just stare at her and she'd squeal with laughter. CUTE!!
- This one is also from the same zoo trip. I took Jayna into the petting zoo and she thought the goats were "doggies." She sat down on the pavement and just played with them like she does with our dogs at home. One goat even gave her a kiss!! She loved it and I think she wanted to take one home for a pet. :)
- If you look at the drawing on the bathtub in this photo, you can see that it is a face. Okay, so it has 2 mouths, but atleast she's getting it!! She is ALWAYS asking me to draw Elmo for her and I do. That's where she learned how to draw a face. She even gave this one crazy fur/hair like Elmo has. This makes me soooo very proud!
- Last weekend we took Jayna to Indiana Beach when we were at Lake Freeman. She thought it was the most awesome thing ever. She LOVED to ride the rides by herself. This was the first ride she rode by herself and when it began to move, her face lit up like nothing I've ever seen. I'll NEVER forget that moment.
- While at Indiana Beach, I helped Jayna play a few games. In this game we had to catch with a fishing pole. We won 3 prizes!! She sure did love her fishies and her frog.
- On Saturday Jayna went on her first boatride of the season. I forgot the camera!! She woke up Sunday morning asking to go again. This pic is of Jayna and Chris on our Sunday morning boatride. She left her life jacket and sun glasses on with no problem. She sure does love the boat!

She is such a doll! We started the month by taking the g'babies aka ba's on vacation with us to Gatlinburg for a week. No Mommy, just Kiki, Pappaw, Kensi and Eli. We have a time share so we were in a 2br/2bth condo. Day one, Eli announced that he was so happy that we had moved to TN. He was pretty sure that the move was permanent...lol With the pool, hot tup, playground, sprayground, children's craft activities and putt-putt course all on site he and Kensi were very serious about not wanting to come home. Thankfully we coaxed them back to reality by using Mommy as bait. Last weekend we were on our way back from the grocery with them and Pappaw said "Who wants to go to TN?" They were both ready to go, on the spot! Pappaw will not be suggesting that again...they were devastated to not be going.
We are taking them to Lake Michigan in July. Traveling with little people ROCKS!
