July Six Pix

July begins my monthly Six Pix post.  I will pick my favorite six pictures of the month and share them with you.

I've decided to do this because I would love to share lots and lots of pictures with you, but I have not the time or the energy.  There are already too many irons in the fire on this end.  I hope you likey.

• My mom's birthday was at the beginning of July.  For her birthday, my brother's family and Chris and I pitched in and got the grandbabies' pictures taken.  This is from July 3rd when she opened her gift and oohed and aahed over it with the kids in tow.

• Jayna's 2nd birthday is on August 21st.  We had decided awhile back to do a circus theme because we refuse to do any character-themed birthdays until she's older.  I got an idea that I was going to put a clown wig and nose on Jayna and take her picture to put on the invites.  And that's just what I did.

• We went to the lake again in July and had a wonderful time.  The weather was nice (except for one bad storm that lasted for about an hour and included pea-sized hail) and Jayna had a blast.  She loves it there.  She did some major relaxing on the boat this time.

• Jayna loves rides.  She loved to ride the pony at Meijer until they didn't have it anymore.  Now it's the mall rides.  She gets to ride one time and she doesn't even throw a fit when it's over (YET).  And it's really cheap and fun for her.

• About once a week we get Jayna a happy meal and it's really the highlight of her day.  She was particularly happy on this day.

• Last Saturday, Jayna got to stay overnight with Nana M.  We were trying to get out the door when I started snapping pictures.  Everyone looked so good!  She couldn't sit still though because she was excited to see Nana M!  Right as I took the pic, she jumped off of Chris' lap.  Cute!
