New Word Wednesday is getting pretty difficult. There are an array of new SENTENCES and IDEAS now instead of just words. I am now changing New Word Wednesday to Well Played Wednesday for the purpose of showing you just how related Jayna is to Chris and me. She already has a pretty quick wit and a sense of humor. She is starting to pick up on sarcasm as well. So now on Wednesday, you'll be presented with a story that shows how much Jayna is picking up on. And away we go...
Monday morning Jayna was watching Spongebob. She realizes that we have Spongebob on the DVR and that she can watch it at will and without commercials. So basically she's a spoiled little punk. But I mean that in the nicest, most loving way. :) She also realizes that if she doesn't like a particular episode that there are more to choose from; although we rarely let her exercise this knowledge. Chris turned on an episode and about 5 minutes into it, she said, "Daddy, nother Spongebob?" He replied, "No, you can watch this one. If there is time after this one, you can watch another."
Time passed. We ate breakfast and paused Spongebob while we ate in the dining room. We finished breakfast and Chris started the same episode from where she had left off. He then left for work.
The episode ended and I was getting things arranged to take to the car as it was time to head out. She came to me and said, "Nother Spongebob, please." I said to her, "No, Jayna, it's time to go." She looked at me, sighed, and said, "No Mommy...nother Spongebob. Daddy said."
Well played, Jayna. Well played.
