Whit Wednesday: Neither Here Nor There

Just a bunch of randoms:

• Last week, Jayna tricked me into letting her stay home from school...but then it ended up NOT being a trick.  At any rate, I ended up bringing her to work with me on Thursday.  Once we got here, she was...fine.  Tricky little girl.  She was playing with my mom at one point and just all of the sudden blurted out, "I'm gonna go have a beer."  What?!?  Weird.
• When Chris had his band gig in Martinsville, I told Jayna that we were going to see daddy play guitar with the band.  She told EVERYONE, including her preschool teachers, that, "I go see daddy play guitar at Target."  I still have no idea why she thought he was playing at Target.  Maybe we go there too much.  Nah...that can't be it.
• Okay...an audible one:  say out loud the word "pupil."  And now say it again and subtract the "-il" sound at the end.  That is how Jayna says the word poop.  And it's hilarious everytime.  "Mommy, I have to p-you-p really bad."  Oy.  And laughter ensues.
• I asked her yesterday, "Baby, are you okay?"  She replied, "Yeah, hun.  I'm okay."  :)
• Over the weekend Jayna was coughing alot. We were instructed to give her saline and/or albuterol breathing treatments if her cough kept up.  I gave her a saline treatment Monday morning with the nebulizer and I forgot to unplug it.  She came running to me, "Mommy!  Mommy!  My machine...you forgot to plug it out!!"
• When we went to get her antibiotic, she told the pharmacist, "I need feel betters cuz I'm sick in my throat."  I found that insanely hilarious.
• She recently started referring to Oliver as "my buddy Oliver."  As in, "Mommy, where's my buddy Oliver??  Is he on your bed?  I tell him to get down."

That kid cracks me up and melts my heart every darn day. :)
