I read PostSecret every week. I understand the idea behind this project, but it is sooo depressing sometimes! Especially since new secrets are posted on Sunday night...which means I read them on Monday morning. I do enjoy the funny ones, though. One from this week said, "I believe no one can hear me fart if my headphones are in." How is that NOT hilarious? And it was probably just as cathartic as the one that said, "I'm not upset you got me pregnant. I'm upset I have to do this alone." Today's Five for Friday is lovingly entitled "What I Would Put On My Postcards If I Wrote To PostSecret." "Or "Things You May Not Know."
- I count my steps everywhere I go. All the time. I try not to, but that just makes me do it more. Even if I'm walking with another person, I count in my head.
- One time when I went on vacation to Alabama with my aunt and cousins, I stole a belt because my cousin dared me. It wasn't even a cool belt...it was one of those weird woven ones.
- When I'm nervous, I sweat. And I mean sweat. Bucket loads. I'm a nervous sweater. That's why I have deodorant in my purse.
- I read emails, texts and other written things in the voice, inflection and speech pattern of the person who wrote it. If I haven't met the person, I make up a voice, inflection and speech pattern.
- I am scared of most public bathrooms. Not scared of the germs...atleast not all the time. I'm actually scared of the bathroom. And if I'm scared of the bathroom, I don't wash my hands.

Thank goodness for #4. I always hoped that everyone did that when I sent them things. And I’m probably not very hard to. And, with regard to counting, I count down backwards in the shower so that I don’t stay in there too long. Like, I get 10 seconds to put soap on the washcloth and 15 seconds to wash my hair. Sometimes I even allot myself 45 seconds to stand there and do nothing. But never more than that.
